Summary of 08/08/08 JAB Meeting @ J.D.'s house
Attendees:
1. Old Business:
a. Shirts : On order...The following members have paid...
Eric Wentling - $121.65
Jon Baldwin - $107.80
2. Current Business:
a. Cider Press : Kent found on Craig's List for $375 and went with Brett? to pick up (check out forum for pictures). Currently, several members have chipped in for the initial capital. We talked about when the club treasury can handle it, paying these members back. Then when ever the press is used, whoever uses it chips in $5-$10 (TBD) to reimburse the club. This is the same concept we talked about for a Jockey Box. Anyway, the press needs bags. Kent has a line on ordering them. The press currently resides at Jon's house. Jon talked about doing some clean-up on it. He thinks he will need it before the next meeting.

c. Kent's employer, Rosemount in Chanhassen, is having an "Oktoberfest" on Sept 24th. Their "homebrew club" invited us to join them and share some of our beers for the event. Perhaps Kent could start a forum thread to give more detail.
d. Eric wanted to bring up the idea at the meeting for a trip to Schell's before it gets cold out. Perhaps Eric could start a forum thread to try to organize it.
