1.      AHA Rally

a.      October 10 at Surly Brewing.

b.      Free to AHA Members.

c.      Free 5 gallons of Surly wort to attendees.

d.      So far, Eric, Kent and Dave plan on attending.

2.      Darkness Day

a.      October 24 at Surly Brewing  

3.      Hoppy Halloween HBC:

a.      Put on by Fargo homebrew club.

b.      Entries accepted Oct 3-16

c.       $7 per entry  

4.      Upcoming Club Style of the Month

a.      November: wood aged beers

b.      January: Scottish 70/- or 80/- (not Wee Heavy)

5.      Group Cider Pressing

a.      Looking doubtful to go out to farm again this year. Dave to keep club posted. At best would be pick apples and bring to other location to press. (Jon’s house?)

b.      At St. Paul Farmers Market, you can bring empty carboy, they will fill it with raw cider and you pick up full carboy following week

6.      Mead Presentation

a.      Thanks to Curt Stock for giving presentation and providing many fine and interesting samples of mead.
