- Very wide variety, more lagers now that I have a
lagering fridge.
- I did Midwest extract kits for the first couple of
years, then switched to partial mash and developing my own recipes. Now
doing the countertop partial mash method. As my kids get older, I’d like
to possibly go all grain.
- Have won a few medals at some homebrewing
competitions, the most recent being a gold medal for my Bourbon Barrel
Aged Imperial Stout.
- A few people have “commissioned” me to brew beer
for them for an event (i.e. wedding) or just to have for themselves.
- Special Techniques
- Yeast Starters
- Wort Oxygenation
- Counter top Partial Mash method
- Oak aged beers
- Lagering
- Mini Kegging using Tap-A-Draft system
- Cellaring vintage beer, both commercial and my
own.
